[Seminar] AI-Driven MPQUIC Scheduling: Model Design, Simulation, and Real-World Deployment
Tuesday, March 17, 2026
09:30 AM - 11:00 AM
Location
23rd Floor, Building A9 – Phenikaa School of Computing
Attendees
Students, practitioners and researchers interested in communication networks, network protocols, artificial intelligence
Phenikaa School of Computing is pleased to announce the seminar “AI-Driven MPQUIC Scheduling: Model Design, Simulation, and Real-World Deployment” presented by Prof. Kien Nguyen (Chiba University, Japan).
In the era of 5G and beyond, Multipath QUIC (MPQUIC) enables devices to leverage multiple wireless networks simultaneously, significantly improving network throughput and reliability. However, its performance strongly depends on the scheduler, which dynamically selects the best transmission path. This seminar will introduce how AI-driven techniques can optimize MPQUIC scheduling, covering the full pipeline from model design and simulation to real-world deployment and performance evaluation.
Speaker: Prof. Kien Nguyen – Associate Professor at Chiba University, Japan, with over 20 years of experience in communication networks. His research focuses on next-generation networks, multipath transport protocols, IoT connectivity, and AI-driven network optimization. He has published 160+ peer-reviewed papers in leading IEEE/ACM journals and conferences.
🕤 Time: 9:30 – 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 17
📍 Venue: 23rd Floor, Building A9 – Phenikaa School of Computing
Students and researchers interested in networking, AI, and distributed systems are welcome to join.
